Most of us know about Tesoro Dubai, that unique global eatery inside the Taj Hotel in Business Bay. Now that I have jogged your memory, it would also be good to note that the nice folks over there have decided to get started on a menu fit for the upcoming holiday season. And they are focusing on food for the soul. This means the dishes are hearty, flavorsome and moreish, but most of all, they are filled with that Taj flair, if you know what I mean.

Dining Experience at Tesoro Dubai

While offering a dining experience for the entire family to enjoy, the food at Tesoro Dubai always has a tale. In addition, the dishes seem to satisfy whatever craving you might have. This new menu takes favorites and indulgences from around the world, and serves them through small and sharing plates. You get to taste a little bit of almost everything on offer. These include salads and sandwiches, comforting mains, burgers and grills and of course indulgent desserts.

What’s on Offer?

There are also fun additions such as an all-day breakfast section, and a ‘Via Dubai’ section complete with Arabic influenced dishes. This is basically for people making a stop-over waiting for their connecting flights; we have many of those here. Lastly, you will find a ‘Taj Autograph’ section, which includes the chef’s signature dishes – double baked Camembert soufflé, Goan prawn curry and Kung Pao chicken.

The menu also offers a ‘Chef’s Plank’ option providing guests with a selection of small plates to share for a set price. This is particularly a great idea since there are people (some of whom I know) who just can’t clean up a decent-sized plate without help.

Not Just Food but Music Too

Just in case you are wondering, Tesoro Dubai is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Every weekday, the eatery hosts a ‘Dine and Dash’ lunch menu, sundowners, Tuesday Ladies’ Night (my favorite so far) and its Friday Brunch complete with live music, live food stations and unlimited a la carte dishes bringing the best of food and music for the soul.
