My Experience with the DMK Enzyme Therapy Facial

DMK Enzyme Therapy Facial ReviewHave you ever heard of a facial nicknamed the “Game of Thrones Facial”? No, it doesn’t involve dragons (although the results might feel magical), but rather the power of enzymes! Recently, I decided to treat myself to the DMK Enzyme Therapy Facial at Enhance by Mediclinic in Dubai, and let me tell you, my skin is still thanking me.

But What is the DMK Enzyme Therapy Facial?

DMK Enzyme Therapy facial is a treatment that uses a combination of enzymatic and mechanical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and encourage the production of new skin cells. The treatment is customized to the individual needs of each client, and it can target a wide range of skin concerns, including acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, pores, and wrinkles.

Stepping into Enhance by Mediclinic

Located in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, the ambiance of the clinic was chic and calming, not to mention luxurious (well it’s the Fashion Avenue after all). I had a brief consultation with Iryna Markovych – Aesthetician and Laser Therapist (a jolly one that one), where she explained the process.  This facial uses a special blend of enzymes to target dead skin cells and impurities.

A deep clean unlike any other

Iryna applied a series of enzyme masks tailored to my specific skin concerns. Now, I have to admit, the feeling was a little unusual.  She assured me this was normal,  a sign of the enzymes working their magic, dissolving dead skin cells and impurities.  For about 45 minutes, I relaxed while the mask did its thing. The process was unlike any facial I’d had before. My entire face, neck, and decollete felt like stone, frozen in time. I couldn’t move a muscle in that area.

The “Plasmatic Effect” of the DMK Enzyme Therapy Facial

One of the most interesting aspects was the visible “plasmatic effect.” As the enzymes did their thing, a network of tiny lines appeared on my face.  Apparently, this is caused by increased blood flow and oxygenation in the skin – a sign that the treatment was working on a deeper level.

The Results?

After the facial, my skin felt absolutely incredible.  It was noticeably smoother, brighter, and even had a bit of a natural lift.  The best part?  The results continued to improve over the next few days.  My skin felt more hydrated and had a healthy glow that I hadn’t experienced in a long time.

Here’s what impressed me about the facial

  • Visible results: My skin looked brighter and tighter, even after just one session.
  • Multi-tasking treatment: It addressed multiple concerns like clogged pores and uneven skin tone.
  • Natural approach: The use of enzymes felt gentler than other facials I’ve tried.

Things to consider about the facial

  • The facial can be slightly more intense than a regular one due to the enzyme activity.
  • Some slight redness or sensitivity is normal after the treatment, but it usually subsides within a couple of hours.
  • For optimal results, a series of DMK Enzyme Therapy facial sessions might be recommended, depending on your individual needs.
  • This might not be suitable for those with very sensitive skin.
