How to Achieve the Perfect Eyebrows

Having my brows on fleek every day is one of the most time-consuming activities I ever go through; even a simple cat eye can’t come close. That’s why most of the time I always leave them be, bushy-tailed and all. And although we all know that the perfect eyebrows never come easy, we still end up wishing we had some.

Sometimes we tweeze, thread, wax, and shave them, but most of these times the brow control has to be done by the pros (at least for me) just to get the right curve.

There are times that we are not in the mood, or unable to run to the beauty-house to get the brow whisperers to do their thing, so we end up doing the deed ourselves, especially if we are already running fashionably late. To get you the best DIY brows on fleek, I had some kind professionals take you and I through the rules for the perfect eyebrows.

Guidelines for the Perfect Eyebrows

Instead of giving us long stories, the brow experts over at Tweezerman decided to just give it to us as it is – straight to the point, with their four major cardinal rules of achieving the perfect eyebrows.

  • Rule #1: The beginning of the brow should align with the center of the nostril.
  • Rule #2: The arch of the brow should fall at the back third of the eye.
  • Rule #3: The eyebrow should follow the length of the eye but it shouldn’t extend into the temple area.
  • Rule #4: Avoid over-tweezing above the brow. A few stray hairs are fine to remove, but tweeze too much and it can create an unnatural look.

The pros also suggest that prior to tweezing for your brows on fleek purposes, take a hot shower or use a warm washcloth on your face to open up pores then tweeze one hair at a time and always in the direction of hair growth.

That said, what is your usual go-to method for the perfect eyebrows? Feel free to share down in the comments.
