Levantine Cuisine is King at Sargon by Naranj in Dubai

Sargon by Naranj: Levantine Cuisine in DubaiAlthough Sargon by Naranj restaurant just opened its doors, it is quite confidently promising those who will be walking through its doors a real Levantine experience that is bound to delight all the senses.

Located in one of the most prime locations in Dubai, overlooking the great Burj Khalifa, Sargon by Naranj is offering just about anything. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner to in-between bites and coffees. I don’t think you will need a reason to be there; even if it’s just to admire the real estate wonder that is the world’s tallest building.

Named after King Sargon the First, who was the founder of the Akkadian Empire, Sargon by Naranj menu is quite diverse. It in a way embraces the culinary sophistication developed by the Levant region over the centuries.

There is also a variety of veggies when it comes to salads, which is synonymous with the diversity and rich legacy of the Levant when it comes to gastronomic prowess. I am leaning towards categorizing Sargon by Naranj in the healthy foods section because from where I am standing so far, it seems to be leaning towards healthy eats.

Well, not so fast because other dishes on the same Sargon by Naranj menu include a mixture of flavors. From the appetizing mezze selection to the succulent grills, and the Turkish Kebabs, ribs and lamb fillets served as main courses, all there to take you right back to the days of King Sargon. And as if that is not enough, there are temptations in the air disguising themselves as desserts, and truth be told, they are bound to satisfy anybody who has a sweet tooth and more.

And if you are a shisha lover, you can relax on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace and let the views of the always vibrant Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and the mighty Burj Khalifa sweep you off your feet.

It is without a doubt that Sargon by Naranj will become as popular as Naranj restaurant, its well-known sister in Damascus which was a favorite with many heads of states from around the world, Queen Sofia of Spain and former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

So, whenever you are in Downtown Dubai, drop by Sargon by Naranj for a coffee or salad or just enjoy an entire course!
