Bio Revitalization skin treatmentBio Revitalization skin treatment is another impressive anti-aging beauty secret you should definitely know about. Sometimes aging or premature aging skin needs a bit of a nudge with something that works more than just your run-of-the-mill topical creams and gels. This is because these kinds of skin issues need to be tackled from the inside.

Although there are quite a number of skin treatments that can slow down the aging process or reduce the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines, most of which I’ve shared with you, Bio Revitalization skin treatment is a sort of a different kind of fish. Not only does it leave the skin looking youthful, but it also gives it a silky, radiant, and supple look. Something I’m sure your skin would appreciate.

One of my trusted skincare specialists and Medical Aesthetician in Dubai, Dr. Lola Ali Muhammad, recently stepped into The Beautiful Lifestyle Online to share more about Bio Revitalization. Although it might not be a new treatment in the market with a fancy name to boot, its hype keeps growing.

What is Bio Revitalization Skin Treatment?

According to Dr. Lola, Bio Revitalization is a non-surgical anti-aging skin treatment that is used to turn back the clock on one’s skin. “It also treats many other aesthetic skin issues and the technique involves the use of unmodified non-animal hyaluronic acid in very small doses.” She also notes that the injections are targeted and injected into the dermal layer of the skin.

For those who don’t have a clue about Hyaluronic acid, it is a complex organic compound produced naturally by our bodies. It is also known as the “fountain of youth” meaning the more you have it in your body, the more youthful you look. Unfortunately, as we age, it begins to diminish, hence the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

“The purpose of hyaluronic acid is to naturally stimulate skin cells which in turn triggers collagen production. It is also responsible for a number of things in the body including skin elasticity, hydration, and tightness,” explains Dr. Lola. And just in case you didn’t know, hyaluronic acid is also used in dermal fillers for volume restoration of the face and lips among others.

 Biorevitalization on turning back time

After injecting hyaluronic acid into the dermal layer of the skin, states Dr. Lola, the stimulation of collagen begins. “This is followed by skin hydration and slowing down of cell fragmentation.” These targeted injections aka Bio Revitalization skin treatment, also slow down the degradation of the body’s own hyaluronic acid. This restores skin elasticity and moisture, hence a huge reduction of pre-existing wrinkles and fine lines. As a result, it is one of the best treatments when it comes to turning back time.

Is it a lunch-hour procedure?

Depending on how serious your aesthetic skin needs are, Bio Revitalization skin treatment can last anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. In other words, you only need to spend that much time with Dr. Lola before you are on your way. And yes, the treatment can be categorized as a lunch-hour procedure. You can go about your activities afterward.

Still, before the administration of the treatment, topical anesthesia is used. After all, we are talking about injections here. But then again, it all depends on your pain threshold. Still, I would insist on topical anesthesia. Afterward, for some people there can be visible redness which can last for only a couple of hours.

How many sessions are required for lasting results?

Normally the sessions can range anywhere from 2 to 4, which have to be repeated every 3-4 weeks. The results can also last up to 6 to 12 months depending on your lifestyle considering most skin aging is caused by exposure to UV rays.

What skin issues can be improved with Bio Revitalization skin treatment?

“Aesthetic skin issues that can be treated using Bio Revitalization include dehydrated skin, deep wrinkles, and fine lines, sagging skin, aging skin due to UV rays, smoking and stress; age spots, scarring, skin folds, and dry skin.”

What would be the expected results?

Hyaluronic acid restores skin moisture, so the skin will be naturally moisturized, which will promote skin renewal. Deep wrinkles will also be less visible while the aging process of the skin will be drastically slowed down leaving the skin looking youthful, vibrant, and healthy. And finally, body areas targeted by Bio Revitalization skin treatment include the face, hands, neck, and décolleté.
